Licentiate of Theology (Kachin)

Licentiate of theology is also the basic degree to prepare persons for ordained ministry. After graduation a student is well prepared to lead a congregation in Kachin community. The unique concern of this course is to produce effective leaders with a broadened and deepened foundation for the knowledge of and faithful obedience to the Bible and its teachings which are relevant to Kachin faith community.

The objective of courses is primarily to equip the students to become faithful servants and visionary leaders for Kachin Baptist Churches. It attempts to provide the students a comprehensive knowledge in biblical and theological studies and to reflect them in the particular context of Kachin Baptist Churches.

Program Requirements
  • Registered and enrolled in the program for the duration of 4 years
  • Completion of required 8 semesters
  • Completion of 116 total credits of courses
  • Completion of 3 credits of mini research paper
  • Accumulation of 119 credits that are required for graduation
